FCC-Austin’s Chinese New Year Celebration, Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please join us as our community celebrates the Year of the Dog, at New Fortune Chinese Seafood Restaurant, 10901 N. Lamar Blvd #501, Austin. This year’s event will include food, friends, henna tattoos, crafts, entertainment, FCC annual board elections, a silent auction, and other fun for the afternoon! Online registration has begun and tickets are available for purchase! Click on the above link to pre-register and pay for your CNY tickets and t-shirts. You may choose your t-shirt colors, quantities, and sizes while you check out that item as an “Additional Item.” This is also an excellent time to renew your membership and get a price break for this and all of our 2018 events. Family membership costs $26 for the year prior to the event with online registration, and $30 at the door. Ticket prices will cost more at the door as well: anyone opting to pay at the door will be charged $23 (Adults), $17 (Youth), and $10 (Toddler). Only checks or cash will be accepted at the door. You can also make a much appreciated donation to FCC Austin. This year’s beautiful t-shirts feature the simplified Mandarin character for “dog” with our organization’s name resting smartly on the left sleeve. (And there’s a dog in the graphic!) They will be available in the following colors: “Carolina Blue,” “Charcoal,” and “Navy” for Adults; “Royal Blue” and “Charcoal” for kids. These limited edition shirts are only guaranteed available via pre-sales (on or before February 7th), as we will only buy a few to sell, and only in a limited number of colors and sizes.
