Annual FCC Spring Retreat,
at the beautiful John Knox Ranch
in Fischer, Texas: April 26th evening to April 28th
noon. It is a lovely camp ground in the Texas hill
country, featuring a “blue hole” for swimming, pool
time, outdoor recreation, and a campfire pit! FCC
programming includes arts and crafts time, games,
(maybe a movie), and good food.
So far, FCC has booked the
common area, 2 houses (2 units each), and a screened
porch with bunks (sleeps 20). The duplex cabins are 6
bunk beds and 1 queen bed per room.
Reservation pricing is:
$290 per family/party for a 2-night stay
$200 per family/party for a 1-night stay
$25 per person for a day pass (includes 2 meals)
If you want to stay overnight
in one of the cabins, please
submit a deposit of $100 by April 14th to Mike
Revesz via Venmo to secure a room (please
title the venmo payment as “FCC retreat overnight”).
We also ask that all day pass attendees submit their
“ticket” payments of $25 dollars to Mike Revesz via
Venmo (please title payment as “FCC retreat day
pass”). Mike’s Venmo: @revesz,
Mike’s Phone: (512) 921-7458.
Food costs will be handled
separately, with teams planning, buying, and preparing
food for 4 simple meals: Saturday breakfast, lunch,
and dinner, Saturday evening smores, and Sunday
breakfast. Typically we keep food costs low, and right
now we’re looking at a sandwich bar for lunch, pasta
for dinner, and eggs, bacon, waffles, etc., for our
breakfasts! Please note that the $25 cost for a day
pass includes lunch, dinner, and s’mores. Also, please
contact Traci
to let her know of any dietary restrictions you or
your family members may have.
Feel free to reach out to any
board members with any questions, comments, or
concerns... we’re looking forward to seeing y’all at
the retreat!
