She won the American Protégé International Competition and recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She has invited featured artists to join her, including choreographer Diana Wang of the Austin Dance Project. Abby has performed for FCC Austin in the past, admires our organization, and is doing this performance as a special benefit and fundraiser for FCC Austin; thank you, Abby! Have you been back to China since your adoption (or your child’s adoption?) Curious about what it’s like to visit and explore the country of your birth? Three FCC-Austin adoptees went back to China and have offered to share their experiences and answer questions: Zoe Watts, a junior at Southwestern University, Hannah Weaver a senior at Premier High School, and Caroline Heath, a sixth grader at Murchison Middle School.
